Ok I've been away alot from my journal and I'm sorry to everyone on my f-list. Some major stuff has been going down keeping me from getting on here. Here's the list;

1.Work has taken over my life. And as much as I hate my job, the paydays are what keep my mouth shut as well as the fact that my bestfriend in the world works there with me.

2.School, which I'm finally done with....for now.

3.Writing, between fanfiction and my other writings (a book possibly) it's such a time sucker. But I love the hell out of it.

4.And the kicker...A fucking swine got me. Honest to God. I've been in and out of doctors offices and ER because of this bitch. It's nasty as hell. It starts out like a regular flu, (if that's not bad enough) and then in my case, spread to my lungs and I developed pneumonia which is still have a lasting impact on my life right now. So I've been out of work for over 3 weeks. You'd think I'd take that free time to make some icons, textures sets and post them but I've had very little energy for anything. I've been holding onto a bunch of icons that I made and some texture sets that I might post this weekend.

Things I have done recently...

1. Watched Senseless finally. I found it at Hastings in my hometown. I was surprised by how much I liked it since the last couple of Jason's movie's have been below par for him. He does torture like no one else. My mom thought it was really happening to him. He's that good. I did shed some tears like I thought I would. I can't stand to see him hurt like that. I still can't watch The White Room without crying.

2. Reread New Moon so I can be ready to see it at the midnight showing on the 20th. New Moon has always been my favorite of the series.

3. I've finally gotten sick of the Robert/Kristen crap that's out there. It been a long time coming. My f-list page is always overflowing with this shit. I'm not a shipper of theirs. Yea they have chemistry but what they do in private is none of my business. If they are together, good for them. Everyone deserves happiness. Leave it at that.

4. I'm almost done with my next chapter of my One Moment More Saga. It won runner up and 1st place for CC fanfic at Roswell Heaven. It's going to get soooooo good once I get past all the minor stuff.

Exogenesis Symphony Part III (Redemption)~ Muse
Amazingly beautiful. Should've been on the New Moon soundtrack. I don't know why it wasn't. It's perfect for they reunite at the end as well as the new meadow scene.

It was my first KOL concert and will not be my last. They blew me away. I've been a huge fan of theirs for a longtime but never thought I'd get the chance to see them live. I was so excited when I heard they were coming to my state. But I made the mistake of waiting to buy my tickets and ended up pretty high up in the stadium but in a good location. My son plays guitar and loves rock music so he was almost as excited as I was even though he had a cold. I bought a camera that I still have not figured out how to work yet and hoped it would capture images up close up (well it didn't do exactly what I wanted but oh well). We got a hotel room for the night because Oklahoma City is an hour and a half away from where we live and I didn't want to drive back home so late. At about 3pm I started getting ready for the 8pm show. My hotel was 4 blocks from the Ford Center so I choose to walk there instead of drive because the streets were so congested with cars and people that day. We went to eat at Sonic in Bricktown (a beautiful part of downtown OK City with a river and water fountains) 2 blocks from the where the concert was going to be at. It was around 6:30 when we got to the Ford Center. The lines were long and spilled out into the street. Cops blocked of street in front of the stadium. The crowd was a mix of different age groups so that was cool. After 7:20 maybe, they opened the doors. We hung out downstairs alittle while and got our drinks. Then went up stairs to find our seats. I met this really nice lady who said she talked with Caleb, Nathan, and Jared dad for a few minutes downstairs where they were selling t-shirts. She didn't know who he was until someone told her later. She had something I wish I would've brought with me...a small pair of binoculars. She would let us borrow them off and on through out the night. Love her for that. Nothing like seeing the boys close up.

White Lies opened up for them and made me a new fan of theirs. I like them alot. But I was there for KOL.

The stadium was almost filled to capacity with cheering fans. They put on an amazing show. I liked watching the way Jared would bend his knees and sink down a little as he played the bass. Caleb would dance and shake his head reminding me of a hotter male version of Hayley Williams from Paramore. Loved it. Matthew's guitar solos made a fan out of my son, the guitarist whose name is also Matthew. Nathan was so intense and powerful as he pounded on the drums. Love him!! Five amazing things stood out for me, 1. Sharing my love of this band with my son. 2. When Caleb said that it was great to be home. And that when he was younger, someone told him he was going to someday play at the Ford Center and Caleb replied, "bullshit" and laughed it off. Well that person was right. 3. The light shows were so cool. And during one song they showed homemovies. 4. The music. What can I say. Fans know how awesome they are but hearing them live is otherworldly. They played 3 encore songs during the last one Matthew played 2 guitar solos and at the end Caleb fell to his knees with his back to the crowd and wailed on his faithful brown Gibson. 5. The crowd as we left the stadium. There had to have been a couple of thousand people piling out of the Ford Center at 11 o'clock at night. We were singing KOL songs at the top of their lungs and jumping up and down. The LARGE crowd piled up in the street blocking traffic as the walked down Reno Ave. It was the best night!!!
